Full course description

The Mile High Early Learning CDA Training and Seminar is a comprehensive training program that provides the 120+ hours needed to apply for, and earn, the CDA credential.  The training includes 8 modules, that cover a wide variety of introductory topics in early childhood care and education. Students may choose either the Infant/Toddler, Preschool track or Family Child Care Track.  Enrollment in this course is completely online, with weekly virtual meetings with the course instructor in real time.  Up to 10 hours of additional coaching is available on an as-needed basis, and can take place either virtually or in-person, depending on the student's needs and location.  A seminar will be held at the conclusion of the course to assist with preparing with the CDA application and verification visit.  Access to a computer, printer and internet connection is required.

Classes will be held on Monday evenings from 6 to 8:30pm via zoom. The cohort starts on Monday, January 23rd and ends on Monday, May 15th with seminar taking place Monday, June 5th and Monday, June 12th 2023. 

Once earned, CDA credentials are also accepted as prior learning assessment credit at all 2 year institutions in Colorado. Please reach out to cda@milehighearlylearning.org with any questions.
